Polysomnographic SCORING services are offered in short or long-term arrangements. We currently have Alice 5, Biologic, Cadwell, Compumedics, Embla, Grass, Nihon Kohden, Rembrandt, Sandman, and Sensormedics systems in our office to accommodate scoring services for most centers. 48 hours from time of receipt is the maximum time we take to manually analyze your sleep studies and prepare them for return shipping (volume limitations apply.) Our record is flawless, as we have never exceeded the 48-hour turnaround time. When you consider the fact that Registered Sleepers, Inc doesn´t call in sick, take vacations or require any benefit packages, outsourcing your polysomnographic scoring services can actually save money for most 2-bed sleep centers. Polysomnographic scoring services are performed at $50.00 per study with no minimum volume requirements.

In addition to receiving data by Fed-Ex, we also offer data transfer over a secure internet connection. Our transfer software exceeds all current HIPAA confidentiality standards and can be used with any sleep system. By using this software package, the turnaround time for Polysomnographic scoring services is improved by eliminating shipping time. The best part is that the charge per study remains the same at $50.00 for adult sleep studies and you save the shipping charges. Transfer time for Polysomnographic scoring services depends upon the type and speed of internet connection at your facility. We can accommodate requests for Quality Assurance scoring for intra-scorer reliability analysis. You may send CD´s by Fed-Ex or use our software for secure data transfer to our office.

Consultation

CONSULTATION or sleep center assessment can be performed at any stage of a center´s development. Assessments are performed on-site and generally include visiting the night staff to evaluate the technologist´s interaction and sleep study acquisition. We then return the next morning for Polysomnographic scoring services and meet with the sleep center Polysomnographic physicians and support staff. A summary report is typed and sent within five work days. This report offers detailed observations and valuable suggestions for improvement based on performance weighed against American Academy of Sleep Medicine requirements.

Assessment visits can be extended, upon request, if training or refinement is needed. The basic assessment polysomnographic scoring service is offered at $60.00 per hour based on a projection of 12 hours plus hotel, meal, and travel expenses. Registered Sleepers may impose a minimum hour requirement for consultation and assessment, depending upon your location and other factors. You will be advised of this, if applicable.

Traning

Polysomnographic TRAINING is the foundation of a successful practice. If you, like so many centers, are having difficulty finding experienced technologists to acquire polysomnographic study services, consider our offer to train new staff. In a matter of weeks, we can train someone with a medical background to acquire high quality polysomnographic scoring at your facility-while you receive the revenue. We charge a flat-rate $60.00 hourly fee regardless of the number of trainees or number of hours worked. Yes, there are several excellent training schools available. However, when you consider the cost of tuition, travel expense, hourly pay and lost revenue from sending a student or two for off-site training; it is more fiscally responsible to bring the teacher to your facility. All polysomnographic scoing services training is performed by a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, on-site, using your equipment while helping you to generate revenue during the Polysomnographic scoring service training process. Training costs are based on a projection of 80 hours, plus hotel, meal and travel reimbursement. An all-inclusive package price can be offered to better meet your budgetary requirements.
